Voice Over (EQ and Compression Walkthrough)
Feb 20, 2021In this video, I walk you through my steps to process a female voice over recording, and transform it into a big, commanding broadcast sound. Instead of explaining what the compressor and EQ does, I share with you what is going on in my head as I make EQ and Compression decisions to optimize the sound of the voice. The original voice file was recorded with an AKG C-214 microphone directly to a Zoom H6. The .WAV file was imported into Apple's Logic Pro X and processed with EQ and compression.
