The custom processing preset is a series of plugins that manipulate the audio to produce the best sound possible. Several different audio plugin configurations can accomplish this. If you use the Universal Audio platform, your custom processing preset configuration may consist of the following stock plugins:

Other plugins are available upon request. However, you are responsible for purchasing and installing the Universal Audio plugins that you choose.
PROS: Many people believe that the Universal Audio platform and corresponding plugins deliver a higher quality sound. Plugins are modeled classic studio gear endorsed by the original manufactures.
CONS: Universal Audio Plugins (as well their platform) come with a higher price tag.
