Step 2 — Schedule A Time

Once your payment is received, you'll receive an email with instructions on scheduling the session time that works for you. You'll also be sent details about the types of audio files that must be prepared and uploaded before your appointment.

Step 3 — PrePare & Upload Files

For this session, you must prepare and upload the following before your appointment.

Your Voice Over Script
A read of the script recorded raw (unprocessed)
Music & Effects (If you intend to post or distribute the production from the session, you are required to own the license to the music and effects used.)

You'll be prompted with further instructions to upload the session assets listed above.

Session Details —

The Voice+Music Production Session is a live, one-on-one video call where we work together on a multi-track project. This session focuses on where most productions start to lose clarity once music is introduced. Your voice may already be solid — but when music beds underneath your voice to create demos, commercials, narrations, or other productions, the balance shifts, and things can quickly feel crowded, unclear, or amateur.

This is a 90-minute, one-on-one online video session where we work together inside a DAW to build your voice + music production in real time using your material—essentially the equivalent of having me in your studio working on your project alongside you. More importantly, you’ll learn how to make the key decisions that determine whether a production sounds clear and professional — or cluttered and amateur.

During our time, we will cover numerous subjects, including the following:

Gain Staging: sources versus mixing
Explaining Standardizing track levels first
Mixing vs processing and compression
Processed vs Unprocessed
Processed music
Music Licensing / Stock Music
Additional platform processing
Over-processing expresses fatigue
Subject vs other elements to support the subject and amplify the emotion
Track Processing vs Bus Processing
EQ Music to make room for the voice
Bus compression to make the independent track sound cohesive
Limiting for loudness

You will finish the session with the basic skills necessary to produce better-sounding demos, commercials, narrations, or other productions that combine your voice with music and effects.

You will receive a mixdown of the final production. You'll receive a mastered (loud) mix of the final production and the Logic Pro session file. (Stems can be available and versions of the session in other DAWs are available by requested and may require additional fees.)

Finally, you will receive a video copy of the session afterward so you can revisit everything we covered.
